When people hear ‘intensity,’ they often think it means dangerous or extreme. But in CrossFit, intensity is relative.

That means you go as hard as you can safely manage.
 
A beginner might do a workout with light weights or modified movements.

 An elite athlete might do the same workout with heavier loads and higher speed.

The training scales to every fitness level.
